Commissions
When
considering commissioning a sculpture it is always best to contact me
direct to discuss your needs. Before contacting me you should consider
your budget and a timescale. I am usually busy with other
projects/exhibitions but I am only too happy to try and accommodate your
requirements.
When undertaking a commission I will always be
happy to make a free site visit (depending on distance from the studio),
alternatively you can make a studio visit to discuss your needs.
Some
clients will have very specific needs others will be more open for
discussion. At all times clients will be kept informed regarding the
commissions progress. Studio vists can be arranged whilst the work is
being made, or photos sent at regular intervals.
Any price quoted will include any site visits and the final delivery and safe installation of the the sculpture.
Hand held commission start from £1,500 medium size work from £10,000 to £20,000 (allow six months for production)
Regarding
payment, I am flexible. However generally I would like a third of the
budget upon commencing the project with the balance being made upon the
safe delivery and installation of the sculpture. For very large
commissions a breakdown of costs is third, a third at mid- stage and the
remainder upon completion.
