A. Galvanised wire mesh.
Q. How long does it take to make a standard wire sculpture?
A. The construction time of a seated sculpture with hair, is approximately 55- 60 hours, although clothed pieces can take up to 120 hours.
Q. How long can I expect a wire sculpture to last?
A. As the wire is galvanised, the manufacturer estimates a 15 year life span, before it starts to show any signs of rusting.
To ensure the sculptures longevity, when each piece is completed, it undergoes an air brushing process with Zinc rust repellent spay.
