About Me - Carol Donaldson

Carol's initial studies in Scotland were followed by a Fine Arts Degree. After some years lecturing, followed by running her own international design practice, she returned to Fine Art undertaking post graduate studies in photography at Barry University in Florida.

She has exhibited both in the UK and the USA and her work is in private collections in both countries and elsewhere in Europe.

My work is mostly concerned with the human form and I try to engage the viewer in an exchange - to encourage an intuitive recognition of some aspect of our emotional or spiritual life. I also love doing portraits. My most recent work "Meditation Series" has led me into the abstract both in concept and form. Thoughts and ideas which present themselves during meditation are expressed as organic shapes.
